Admittedly, I have developed a thing for rainbows lately, Yes Rainbows . I don’t know where this fixation came from; it sprung forth like a fuzzy cobra from a peanut can.. Maybe its something more like a 3rd grade re-awakening, some 80’s childhood nostalgia.. Like when they first made those holographic prism notebook covers, remember those?! Or the hello kitty erasers that smelled like strawberry icing!…Slinky! Anyway, I feel a little differently about rainbows now, but I still totally love them..

How about this sweet Chief painting by Ray Abeyta…Ray is a friend of mine via Brooklyn but he also hails from New Mexico, small world. His exhibition is currently on view at Billy Shire’s gallery in the LA [..well Culver City but basically the same thing].

Also I made the egg bangle sets in homage to the fun striped Candy Canes of Olde. Those were the kind displayed in giant glass jars at the hoopty general store.
