OUR MATERIALS AND RESOURCES

WHAT ARE OUR SUSTAINABILITY PRACTICES AND HOW DO WE DEFINE ETHICAL DIAMONDS?

We are committed to sustainable, green, and ethical production processes. All sourcing is done in accordance with these initiatives including the use of recycled metals and conflict free stones.
In addition, we incorporate a great number of rare and exceptional antique and reclaimed diamonds into our pieces. Modern diamonds used in our ceremonial rings are compliant with the Kimberley Process via their source, and we can provide GIA certified diamonds upon request.


PERSONALIZATION, CUSTOMIZATION AND REMOTE INQUIRIES

Due to the nature of the precious materials used in Anna Sheffield Jewelry, nearly all of our pieces are one-of-a-kind.

WHAT IS BESPOKE?

Each piece in our collection can be specially made to order and to your desired specifications.   Working with a sales associate, you can learn about the many Bespoke options which include variations in gold color and the center diamond’s cut, color, size and shape. Additionally, you may select the color of the diamond pavé- or tiny diamond details on the halo and band of our rings. We also work with a number of colored stones including emerald, ruby, and sapphire and some semi precious gems.  

WHAT IF I WANT A CUSTOM DESIGN?

If you have a design in mind that is outside of the Bespoke variations outlined above, we offer Custom Design services as well. This personalized approach includes a design meeting where renderings will be created for your fully custom jewelry piece or pieces.
This service is available only by appointment. Remote clients can speak with us via phone or skype.

HOW DO I BEGIN THE SPECIAL ORDER PROCESS?

•  Take a look at our collection.
•  Find your favorite pieces- both by name and by design or style (ie solitaire, three stone, diamond halo, antique diamond).
•  Note any changes or special details you’d like to include in your Bespoke ring.
•  Contact us to proceed with the next steps which includes diamond education and sourcing, discussing time lines, and gathering final details such as ring sizing and shipping options.

If you are based in or visiting New York City, you may book an appointment or simply walk in and speak with an associate at our store during business hours.

DO YOU WORK WITH CLIENTS REMOTELY?

Yes, we work with people all over the world on both Bespoke and fully Custom orders. Email or call us at 212.925.7010 to arrange a consultation via phone or Skype.

Please allow us 2-5 days to respond as custom queries require extra time and attention.**


CAN I INCORPORATE AN HEIRLOOM STONE?

We can work with your Heirloom stones, but you must first provide a few specific details to determine whether the stone is suitable. Quality and condition will inform if and how a stone may be used while the shape, color and cut relate to the possible use by design. Please send a photograph and as much information on the stone as possible including carat size,  millimeter dimensions and, if applicable, GIA certification.

Please have your stone appraised prior to setting to determine its valuation.

HOW QUICKLY CAN I GET MY JEWELRY MADE AND DO YOU PROVIDE RUSH SERVICE?

Usually our pieces can be made to order in 4-6 weeks from the date the order is finalized. We provide rush services when possible, though rush fees may apply.

DO YOU PROVIDE ENGRAVING SERVICES?

We provide hand engraving services priced at $10 per character. Engraving typically adds five to ten business days. 

 
SHIPPING & RETURNS

We offer in store pick up if you prefer not to ship your finished jewelry.

WHAT IS YOUR SHIPPING METHOD?

We ship all of our jewelry FedEx Two Day or FedEx Overnight. All of our pieces are fully insured while in transit and must be signed for when received.


DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?

We use FedEx International Priority which takes approximately 3-15 business days, depending on the destination country. The pieces are fully insured during transit time and are subject to all duties and taxes imposed by your country.

WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?

All Special Order, Custom and Bespoke pieces are Final Sale and not eligible for returns or refunds.

Anna Sheffield gladly accepts returns on items within two weeks of order delivery for an exchange or a full refund. All merchandise must be in its original packaging and in its original condition.

HOW DO I RETURN AN ONLINE PURCHASE?

To return an online purchase please contact info@annasheffield.com for a return authorization form. In the subject line please include RETURN, your name, and the order number. You are responsible for insuring your own return unless otherwise arranged through an associate.

You may also return any items in person to our store.



APPRAISALS, INSURANCE, WARRANTIES


CAN I GET AN APPRAISAL OR EVALUATION REPORT?

We are happy to provide you with an evaluation report once your purchase is complete.  Evaluation reports document the retail value of your piece for insurance proposes.  Please note an evaluation report is not an appraisal, which requires an independent assessment by a certified appraiser.  This is unfortunately not a service we can provide.


DO YOU PROVIDE INSURANCE?

We recommend you insure your jewelry but do not offer insurance through Anna Sheffield.

DO YOU PROVIDE WARRANTIES?

We provide a one-year warranty on all of our jewelry from the date of completion. If any issues arise in the first year, we will repair your piece free of charge. It is your responsibility to ship and insure your jewelry. Anna Sheffield Jewelry will return your piece insured once repaired.

Damaged pieces can be repaired by us, and fees for this service will vary according to the extent of repair.
