Sales Manager - Los Angeles

Overview :

The Store Manager is directly responsible for the daily operations of the Los Angeles Atelier, driving sales and profitability while providing leadership and training for the sales team in the Southern California market. This position manages the training growth of new and existing sales staff through sales techniques, client development, and AS product knowledge. By managing and coaching the team with professionalism and enthusiasm, the West Coast Manager enables the sales team to maximize business opportunities and drive service excellence through the Anna Sheffield sales ceremony. The primary focus of this position is to deliver sales plan achievement both individually and for this West Coast Flagship. The Store Manager will also support retail expansion initiatives and business development plays an active role in the setup and sales delivery of the retail store, trunk shows, pop-up shows, and sales activations.

Leadership

 

  •  Coaches team to achieve/exceed company targets and sales goals, while adhering to company policies and procedures.

  •  Motivates and supports the sales team in the selling of Anna Sheffield products; leads by example on the sales floor

  • Elevates the client experience by ensures the delivery of service excellence by maintaining the highest degree of hospitality, courtesy, and professionalism

     

    Sales

  • Consistently achieves or exceeds both atelier and personal sales goals

  • Maintains a positive and warm shopping experience for all clients by providing exceptional

    customer service

  • Possesses and shares expert product knowledge of Anna Sheffield product assortment,

    materials, and production techniques

  • Supports and exercises excellence in selling across channels and growing each product pillar

  • Partners, including the Production, Creative, and other store teams

  • Follows client orders through each stage of production to ensure timely fulfillment and compliance

    with our standards and client expectations

  • Independently and proactively resolves client issues, and provides guidance and support for

    escalated client issues for the sales team

  • Delivers weekly and monthly sales reporting to sales leadership teams

  • Liaises with Sales Directors and marketing teams to support events and local activations

    Sales Coaching and Training

  • Conducts regularly scheduled touch bases to coach sales performance for each associate. Takes active role in on-boarding new sales associates and guides training for day-to-day activities and processes

  • Works with the store team to build sales competencies in client development and retention, upselling, add-on sales, overcoming objections, and program-selling

  • Creates individual goals and plans to elevate sales team and store performance

Always embodies professional and AS brand appropriate image

● Identifies opportunities and offers feedback to maximize team and atelier performance, in addition

to consistently seeking opportunities to build business and enhance client offerings

  • Coaches to sales strategies and goals identified by leadership and store management for plan achievement and profitability

  • Integral role in the training for product launches, product reintroduction, sales operations including but not limited to POS training, introduction of innovative technologies, and sales procedures

    Clienteling :

  • Delivers growth of LA store client and personal client book

  • Ensures data capture targets are recognized and maintains CRM platform/tools weekly for LA

    store

  • Works with sales leadership to discover opportunities within client segments and share client lists

    to sales team for continuous outreach

  • Understands local market and identifies strategies to grow local client base

  •  Drives team to deliver and achieve repeat business and frequency targets established by

    management

  • Cultivates and develops new client relationships through exceptional client care and brand CRM

    initiatives

  • Demonstrates proactive service and deft service recovery for new and existing clients to maintain

the

Operational Support :

● Actively participates in all

organization, product transfers, inventory counts etc.

merchandising, daily

maintenance, and inventory activities including, but not limited to: case up keep, back stock

● Maintains supply orders, organization, and cleanliness throughout the store. Also responsible for

initiating contact with vendors for store repairs and safety.

● Ensures proper care is taken for all sales, paperwork, receipts and invoices, and required

reporting

● Creates monthly staffing schedules, always ensures proper coverage, ensures staff compliance,

maintains Atelier Daily google calendar

● Tracks and monitors petty cash, and cash or checks tendered from sales

● Ensures all orders are properly entered into POS and each sale processed appropriately, and all

orders closed upon pick up from the client

● Communicates stock outs and inventory needs to leadership team

daily setup and breakdown of atelier,

● Loss Prevention / Safety - adheres to security protocols, standards to ensure safety of staff, merchandise, loose stones, and client orders/repairs
